Tom Maguire is the Photography Lead at Save the Children UK. Tom has over 10 years experience in shoot production and commissioning for NGOs, and has collaborated with some of the world’s most renowned photographers on stories covering a range of global issues and humanitarian crises. He has led multi-country creative projects that have been widely published in the media and recognised by numerous industry awards. He is also passionate about collaborating with children in the image-making process, and facilitates participatory photography workshops with children and young people that Save the Children supports as a part of his role.

Tom is particularly interested in stories and visuals exploring the impact of the climate crisis and how communities are adapting, and new, creative approaches to storytelling
