Matthew Beaman is a photography director with comprehensive experience in producing and art-directing imagery to shape the visual language of market-leading global brands, including Monocle and Wallpaper*

Beaman leads the photography department at Monocle. He commissions photography for the print magazine – which covers a broad range of subjects, from global affairs to culture, design and fashion – and the wider brand, including Konfekt magazine, books, commercial partnerships, retail and digital newsletters.

Before joining Monocle, Beaman headed up the photography department at Forward Worldwide, a WPP agency providing creative solutions for brands such as Patek Philippe and Amex. He cut his teeth as part of Wallpaper* magazine’s photography team, commissioning and producing images with photographers working at the forefront of architecture, fashion, still life and portraiture.
