Francesca Hummler has been the Community Manager of Der Greif, a contemporary photography organization in Munich, since 2022. In 2024, she launched Der Greif’s Face-to-Face program at Les Rencontres d’Arles, providing free portfolio feedback sessions, follow-up online reviews, and a celebratory showcase. She also co-organized a symposium on AI in Photography with FOAM, Photoworks, and The Photographers’ Gallery during Paris Photo 2024. She earned an MA in Photography with distinction from the Royal College of Art in 2022. Previously, she was an Educational Delivery Manager and Photography Tutor at Photofusion in London, curating exhibitions and leading community photography programs. An award-winning photographic artist, Francesca explores identity, archives, and generational trauma through photo-therapy-inspired methods. In March 2025, she was a FORMAT25 Portfolio Reviewer, offering critical insights to emerging photographers.
