Danit Ariel

Curator – Photoworks

Danit Ariel is an artist, writer and curator based in Brighton, UK. Her practice looks into the love, loss and evolution of countercultures, as well as how art can create new ways of ‘meeting’. She is the author of Nayah: Empathy as an Act of Resistance and All the Tables are Brown, and has developed extensive research around the relationship between empathy and artistic practices. She is a Royal Academy of Art (The Hague) Photography alumni and the Assistant Curator at Photoworks.
